Hello and welcome to Styled by Sammi pet grooming. I am a Certified professional groomer with over 5 years experience working with all breeds big or small. I am first aid trained and always looking to further my knowledge with other courses and qualifications. I believe all dogs should have a positive experience for all grooms in the salon and will welcome them in with lots of love and attention. Dog grooming is my passion and I hope to share it with you all.


Styled by Sammi pet grooming is a fully insured dog grooming salon in Holland-on-sea, covering the surrounding area. I aim to provide excellent pet care at a reasonable price. Because all dogs are part of each clients family, they deserve a safe and dog friendly environment and the best treatment available. All of which will be met to a high standard. The welfare of your dog is at the heart of my business with the focus on quality and outstanding care. I believe that there is no one size fits all and I will adapt the groom to suit your dog.

All price are size, breed and coat dependant.

All new clients will have a free consultation on their first appointment to establish all grooming requirements and any other relevant information.

Terms and conditions.

Time keeping:

All appointments are a 1.5hour slot this is to prevent overlapping so your dogs groom isn’t rushed. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your dogs appointment. Customers who are more than 15 minutes late will be charged £5 for every 5 minutes or have their appointment rearranged and charged a late fee of £15. Late collections will also be subject to the 15 minute rule as I am not a licensed day care.


Pricing:

All prices are subject to grooming requirements. This Is assessed by coat condition, temperament, size and style. You may be given a rough estimate if booking via phone, email or socials, this may change or may not change on your dogs appointment, subject to a full consultation.

 

Cancellation and no show:

All no shows and late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will incur a fee of 50% of the quoted grooming price. I completely understand that life gets in the way sometimes but a no show/late cancellation means a loss of earnings to me and an appointment for someone else. If you can’t call me, please send me a quick text or message on my socials.

 

Matted coats:

All dogs with severe matting will be charged an extra fee of £10 to cover some of the cost to have any

blades used re-sharpened due to the damage that can be caused by matted hair, dirt and dander.

 

Fleas:

If fleas are found during a groom the groom will be stopped and your dog will be sent home and a fee of £20 will need to be paid and your appointment will be rebooked after sufficient treatment from a vet and your dog is flea free.

 

Health:

Any health issues or concerns need to be declared before each groom. This allows me to assess any risks before I start your dogs groom and if I need to change any parts of the grooming process. Any undisclosed health or temperament issues which could cause harm to me or the dog will cause the groom to be stopped and the dog will be sent home. The full grooming price will still be charged.

 

Customer details:

All details are held in confidence by myself only. Please inform me of any changes to your details, so that I have the correct details incase of emergencies and general contact.


Other information:

  • Please make sure your dog has been to the toilet before their appointment to help prevent any accidents that may occur.
  • Please do not feed your dog before their appointment as stress/excitement can cause them to vomit or have diarrhoea.
  • If your dog requires a solo appointment please advise when booking.
  • Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.
  • If someone brings your dog for you, please send clear grooming instructions.
  • Refunds: Partial or full refunds will be given depending on the complaint or the situation. By this I mean a possible accident – cut, nicks or abrasions etc or something is not right with the groom -Ears not short enough, length of coat etc. Anything that needs rectifying is to be bought to my attention within 24 hours of the groom.
  • All new clients must pay a £15 deposit to secure their dogs appointment. This will be taken off the final groom price. In the event if a late cancellation or no show the deposit will not be refunded.
  • All clients will be asked to read and sign a grooming agreement form on their first appointment. This will be kept on file.
